Never lose faith in God.
He empowers us to change our circumstances from bad to good with His help (Phil 4:13), He won’t give us anything we can’t bear (1 Cor 10:13).
God Bless!
A minister was walking to church one morning when he passed one of his members working in his garden. “Can’t you hear those bells calling you to church?” asked the minister.
”Eh, what’s that?” said the member.
”Can’t you hear those bells calling you to church?”
”I’m afraid you’ll have to speak a little louder!” said the member.
”CAN’T YOU HEAR THOSE BELLS CALLING YOU TO CHURCH?!” shouted the minister.
”I’m sorry,” said the member, “I can’t hear you because of those darned BELLS!”

Part 2 of 2,
Music in worship is also necessary as told to us in Psalms 81:2-4. God has required us to use the harp, lyre, tambourine, and other musical instruments to give our praise. It makes it much more inviting for ones worship if we can simply dance and sing to Christ. It sets the positive tone we need to allow ourselves to relax and let go of all that we have been holding on to that stops us from truly serving God each day.
Even though we are free to worship God in a way that we think is pleasing to Him, we still need to come to this worship with the utmost respect and reverence for who He is and what He has done for us. We worship because He has made it possible for us to go to Heaven even though we are not worthy to. We have sinned and yet He has accepted us as His own if we will only accept God by believing in Him and that Jesus died for us on the cross. Worship has and always will be a way that we can show God how much we love Him and need Him in our lives.

Heavenly Clocks
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.
He asked, “What are all those clocks?”
St. Peter answered, “Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.”
“Oh,” said the man, “whose clock is that?” “That’s Mother Teresa’s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”
“Incredible,” said the man. “And whose clock is that one?”
St. Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.”
“Where’s Sen. Clinton’s clock?” asked the man.
“Sen. Clinton’s clock is in Jesus’ office. He’s using it as a ceiling fan!”

Part 1 of 2,
The book of Numbers may be an Old Testament book which was written thousands of years ago but it is the source for what God requires in our worship. He is very clear about how we should worship Him and what steps need to be taken in order for us to have worship that renews us and reaffirms our commitment to God. In Numbers 29:1, God tells His chosen people the correct way to celebrate the holidays He has set for them.
The holidays were at time of worship to refresh the mind and body and to renew the commitment they had made to God Himself. This was the time for those who felt tired or away from God to draw them closer to Him by taking a holiday from ordinary life and routine to concentrate on Him completely.
In this passage, three important things were stressed when talking about worship and how best to accomplish it for the glory of God.
1. Believers were gathered together in one place to worship God together. Worshiping God together with other believers always seems to benefit the individual more than quiet worship alone.
2. The normal daily routine was not observed on the day of worship and no work was done at all. The time set aside for worship was necessary to change the attitude we have toward God before the worship begins and after the worship has ended. Almost a time of reflection is needed with no interruptions.
3. The believers gave God a sacrifice of some sort to show their commitment to Him. Today, we no longer sacrifice animals as they did back them but we do give in the offering and of our time and services to those in need. This giving and sacrificial attitude is necessary for proper worship in our lives.

The first man in the Bible
A Sunday School teacher asked little Willie who the first man in the Bible was.
“Hoss.” said Willie.
“Wrong,” said the teacher. “It was Adam.”
“Aw, shucks!” Willie replied. “I knew it was one of those Cartwrights.”

Part 2 of 2….
Blessings come to us as a result of humility to God. We can not be blessed if we are not caring a humble heart and simply obeying God no matter the way he chooses for us to obey. We have to know that in blessing, Gods way is better than the way we have chosen. Some of the time, the ways in which our blessings are given are actually vessels God uses to show Himself and His works to others who may or may not be believers. If we resist, we could be blocking ourselves from a great opportunity to serve others through following Him.
Blessings can be the very thing to show others that God is working in a bad situation and to stay strong in your faith. Acts 11:23 is a perfect example of this. Acts 4:33 says that the disciples only needed to believe and profess that Jesus had risen and the blessings were poured out to them all. How amazing is it to know that when you follow Gods will, he will reward you with the best things you could not even dream to accomplish on your own.
Blessings can come in the form of money but most often are something one has been hoping for. It any is a good report from the doctor, a letter from a long lost friend, or a way to take care of something that is necessary for your daily life. No matter what the blessings, you will be able to talk to any Christian and have them testify to the powerful blessings they have received for following Christ and obeying His wishes. Blessings are so uplifting and are the one thing everyone has to look forward to as a believer in God.

Sunday service
A minister was planning a wedding at the close of the Sunday morning service.
After the benediction he had planned to call the couple down to be married for a brief ceremony before the congregation.
For the life of him, he couldn’t think of the names of those who were to be married.
So he asked “Will those wanting to get married please come to the front?”.
Immediately, nine single ladies, three widows, four widowers, and six single men stepped to the front.

Blessings Are Promised To Believers
Part 1 of 2….
Naaman was a great hero who had leprosy. He was revered and respected as a Great War hero and army commander but unfortunately his pride and selfishness got the better of him. Naaman was told of a prophet, Elisha, who could heal him of his leprosy. Naaman packed up his chariots and went to see Elisha. Instead of being treated as a royal figure, Elisha sent a message to him to wash himself in the river seven times and his leprosy would be healed. Instead of being grateful for this cure, Naaman was furious at Elisha for refusing him the right to see him in person. He left Elisha’s home in anger but was persuaded to go to the Jordon and do what was asked of him by Elisha. The leprosy was healed and Naaman became a follower of God. (2 Kings 5:9-15)
Naaman was the perfect example to us of how not to receive a blessing from God. We can not be choosy about what blessings we accept from God and how we choose them to be given. Naaman thought that since his wishes were not fulfilled in the way he was to be healed, the blessing was not worth it. He almost missed out on this wonderful opportunity sent by God simply because his prideful nature took over.

The Pastor’s wife
On Christmas afternoon, the Pastor’s wife dropped into an easy chair saying, “Boy! Am I ever tried.”
Her husband (the Pastor) looked over at her & said, “I had to conduct two special services last night, three today, & give a total of five sermons. Why are you so tired?”
“Dearest,” she replied, “I had to listen to all of them.”

Part 2 of 2,
If you face any trouble in the future or are facing trouble now, remember that God is your refuge and strength. He will be there for you in times of trouble no matter what that trouble is. (Psalms 46:1) He will take your hand and guide you through anything that may cause you to stumble and fall. He will be the strength you have lost and will support you until you are able to find your own support again. Although, many of us need Him to support us and strengthen us more than others, He is waiting for us to ask him to be there.
Those with a personal relationship with Christ can attest to His strong arm that is there to be reached for when we need it. Believers are promised this in His word and can be safe and comforted in the knowledge that our weakness will not hold back the blessings of God in our lives. We are fulfilled and made whole by the promises He has made to us concerning all the troubles we will face. We should have no stress or anxiety when it comes to believing that His promise to strengthen us will be provided to us and this should make the troubled times much easier to bear.
God Bless!
The Ten Commandments - Texas Style
People in Texas have trouble with all those “shalls” and “shall nots” in the Ten Commandments.
Folks there just aren’t used to talking in those terms. So, some folks out in west Texas got together and translated the “King James” into “King Ranch” language:
The Cowboy’s Ten Commandments
(1) Just one God.
(2) Honor yer Ma & Pa.
(3) No tellin’ tales or gossipin’.
(4) Git yourself to Sunday meetin’.
(5) Put nothin’ before God.
(6) No foolin’ around with another fellow’s gal.
(7) No killin.’
(8) Watch yer mouth.
(9) Don’t take what ain’t yers.
(10) Don’t be hankerin’ for yer buddy’s stuff.
